:: Describe a traditional meal in your country. You should say:

- The meal I want to describe for you is fish and rice with special dried vegetables. This is a traditional dish and Iranians have cooked it for centuries. First, you should prepare the main ingredients which are rice, oil, seasonings, fish, and special vegetables. For cooking the rice, which you have washed before, you should put it in a pan and pour enough water and salt in it, as well as adding a bit of oil on the top of it. Let it cook for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, it is about time to add the vegetables, parsley, dill, mint, and basil, that you have fried before. Mix everything together and let it cook for about 20 minutes more.

Meanwhile, add the seasonings such as turmeric and garlic to the sliced fish and fry them in a frying pan. When the fried fish and the rice are ready, you can eat them with some pickled vegetables or relish! Yummy!

job or career

- A career that I am fond of is in the position of a researcher. At the moment, I work as a clerk in an office/I do freelance work/ I am a civil servant, but I am trying to get a research position. It is a collaborative job in which you need to keep yourself updated, otherwise you will be a loser!

- I am especially interested in conducting studies which seek to find solutions to social problems or at least provide an explanation for them, such as crime, vandalism, population explosion, etc. If you manage to solve a problem, it is a great accomplishment you have made. I think in this sense it is a pronounced/marked career.

I think the most influential individual in the pre-Islamic era in Iran was Cyrus the Great.
The first king in the world who declared all human beings must have freedom of speech and thought. He enforced the law of human rights and sent his charter to many contemporary nations. His name is even found in the Old Testament. It is not surprising that he is mentioned in the Bible in the Book of Kings. Although he was the sovereign of the largest kingdom in the world, he never tried to enslave/subjugate people.
His viewpoints towards life are still respected and practical. When I think he is from the same country I came from, I really feel proud of who I am. The moral codes and ethics he believed in, I think, will last forever.

The start of the Persian New Year - the Spring eqinox - in Iran has been marked as being the first day of spring. According to old legends, all spirits will be given divine gifts and because these gifts are from heaven, they have the power to renew the spirit and even nature. So, the first day of Spring in Iran is, in fact, the beginning of the new year. Iranians have special ceremonies on this special occasion. Long-established traditions hold that younger people should pay a visit to the older generation, especially their parents and grandparents. To many people, it is a beautiful ritual and what adds to its beauty is exchanging gifts.
I personally love it because of preserving traditional customs and the flower blossoms and beautiful nature as well as the long holiday, which gives you enough time to enjoy yourself.
